Guffaw v0.1

2004-08-22 11:42 - Programming

For about the past week I've been working on a little project I dreamt up. The concept is simply an advanced application framework built in javascript, that would present an environment familiar to users of any modern GUI operating system. I have grand visions for some things, but I won't get into them yet in case they prove too difficult.

I called it Guffaw, which is a rather lame name. But, I'm not great at names and it's a real word and almost an acronym. So that's that. Feel free to check it out. Not very advanced yet but with luck I've set up all the framework properly so I can add more useful things easily.

You may use Markdown syntax in the comment, but no HTML. Hints:

  • An empty line between text will create a paragraph boundary.
  • Use angle braces around a plain URL to auto-link it: <http://www.example.com/>.
  • Use this format to create a link with different text showing: [An Example](http://www.example.com/).
  • Use backticks (``), not leading spaces to enclose a code block.

If you are attempting to contact me, ask me a question, etc, please send me a message through the contact form rather than posting a comment here. Thank you. (If you post a comment anyway when it should be a message to me, I'll probably just delete your comment. I don't like clutter.)
